The Amazing Taskmaster

In Te Ngahere we have been doing task master. We did a task master that we had to collaborate in. there are two runners and one drawer the drawer can’t leave the table, the picture is outside so that the drawer couldn’t see it.

The first one we did didn’t work well because we couldn’t touch the paper and people keep yelling at you, when we were half way in it we started to understand what they were trying to say but it was still hard, the challenging part was when you couldn’t get the drawer to understand you. 

The second time we did it was still a little bit hard, but we changed how was the drawer to someone how understood more but we should have changed how we collaborated, things worked better when we started to understand properly, things didn’t work well when people were yelling at me, the challenging part was when people didn’t understand what they were saying. My Understandings About A Food Web.



This week in Te Ngahere we have been learning about  food webs I learnt A food web works for all types of animals. We have to write what is different about the food web I made and the teachers food web.  My food web doesn’t have colored arrows, it also doesn't have 6 arrows pointing to the stoat, mine only has 9 arrows and the other food web has 23. The arrows point the way they do, so the red arrows show you what the kiwis energy transfers to the stoat, the blue arrows shows that the invertebrates energy transfers to the tui and the green arrows shows that the kerrerus energy transfers to the possum. Why they are different colors are so it is easier to see where they point like red arrows point to what the stoats eat. It was hard because you had to show where the arrows went. The Killer Wave That Turned Out To Be High Tide.

 

Last week the north all the way to Whangarei got a Tsunami warning. We were playing when we heard some bells. We went to class and did the roll, then we went to the hill on top of school. All of my friends felt sad and scared. I was up there for 1 hour then my Dad came to pick me up. The adults that were up there offered toilet trips, sausages and the teachers let us call our parents. What did you do?
