Today in my class we did a plant animation about plants. I did one about how to plant popcorn. We had to include pictures to show what you need. You need water, popcorn seed, sun, soil, corn, gardening pots and garden to put them in.

Makerspace about electricity

Today in my class we did makerspace about electricity. My group went up to a table and we had to make electricity with the lemons it was fun. We used 4 lemons, some nails, one led light, clips. Then we connected them all together. First we cut a little bit of the lemon.

Healthy Cooking

Plants need soil, water, sun and minerals to grow. We were making food. You had to use at least one of these vegetables carrots, silverbeet, parsley and celery.   My group made a salad we used carrots, silverbeet, parsley and celery.

Te Maunga has been learning about cybersmart. This time we learnt about right place at the right time. This is about making sure you do the right thing on your chromebook.

T.Shaped Literacy dlo

Our T-Shaped literacy was about sea life. I learnt that some people kill turtles for their shells. This ad is about saving our turtles.

Juicy DLO

We used tin foil, cushion fluff, chrome book pads, hot glue, and polystyrene. Our juice was frozen in the middle but liquid on the bottom and top after two hour in the sun. Ours didn’t worked because we used bad insulation.

We were learning about time 2 weeks ago in groups. I learnt about how many minutes and hours in each day.I learnt that there are 24 hours in a day & night. I also learnt that there are 60 minutes in an hour and there are 365 days in a year.
